Okay, I haven’t been posting as much as I would like on this blog, but I want to catch up by posting about all the trips I’ve taken. I enjoy sharing memories and pictures from my time gallivanting around the country. In the last post I mentioned my sister trip to Orlando. Shortly after, we took a lady’s trip down to Texas to surprise my grandma for her birthday! I’m so so glad my sister Mackenzie and I chose to join my mom for that trip. It’s funny because I’m actually back at Nana’s house right now as I’m writing this. Let’s take a look back at our trip in September…

Mackenzie and I found flights to Abilene, TX the same day our mom was already scheduled to arrive. It ended up being the perfect way to surprise Nana for her special day. She was shocked! It was so rewarding to see her tear up and be completely caught off guard when she picked us up at the airport. We headed back to her place in Brownwood. We spent our days shopping, getting Starbucks and catching up. After a couple of days, we headed on a little road trip to San Antonio to celebrate Nana’s birthday in the city. The hotel we stayed at was on the River Walk. It was such a fun night. We enjoyed walking around and getting some good Mexican food.

Overall, it was a memorable getaway for the girls. It was really nice to just enjoy family time and celebrate our wonderful grandma.
